Zumba is a cardiovascular workout that
uses a combination of latin music like merengue, salsa, reggaeton, hip-hop,
mambo, flamenco, calypso an some belly dancing. The amazing thing about Zumba
is that women and men that practice it lose between 500 and 1000 calories while
they are having fun.
Zumba was founded in 1990’s by Alberto “Beto” Perez, a
Colombian aerobics instructor. He needed to improvise his aerobics class using
a couple of cds with latin music because he forgot the aerobic music tape.
Zumba classes are now offered in 125 countries, 110000 locations and more than
12 million people take classes around the world.
Zumba is a secure workout and it can be
practiced by people of all ages from children to adults. There are eight different
classes: Zumba Gold is a program designed for
older population. Zumba Toning, a class designed to strength abs, thighs and

Zumbatomic a special class designed for children from 4 to 12 years old. Zumba
